Ev-Gest-200 holds natural micronised progesterone in a soft gelatin capsule and can be used orally, vaginally or rectally, as the doctor decides. Progesterone keeps the womb lining ready for pregnancy, so it’s often prescribed for threatened or recurrent miscarriage, luteal phase support in IVF and other fertility treatments, irregular or missed periods, and alongside oestrogen in menopausal hormone therapy. Oral doses can make you drowsy, so bedtime is usually advised. Spotting, breast tenderness or mild bloating may happen. Take it only on a gynaecologist’s advice and never stop suddenly in pregnancy. Keep it below 25°C, away from moisture.
