Glimwell-MV2 is a three-drug tablet for adults with type 2 diabetes who need more than one medicine to keep sugar in range. Voglibose slows the digestion of carbohydrates, so blood sugar rises less sharply after a meal. Metformin in sustained release form cuts down the sugar the liver makes, and it’s usually easier on the stomach. Glimepiride helps the pancreas release more insulin. Because each part works differently, the combination covers both fasting and after-meal readings. It should be taken only on a doctor’s prescription, with or just before food, along with a proper diet and regular exercise. Regular sugar checks are part of the routine.
